Cable assembly
Custom cable assemblies, built to your specification.
Belko combines cable, connectors and assembly into ready-to-install connections and cable harnesses — selected for your application, built and tested in series.

What Belko does

- 03Prototype to series
What we build
From a single cable to a complete harness.
Four ways in — whether you know the part number or only what the connection has to do.
- 01
Cable assemblies
Assembled, tested connections that go straight into a system or machine: single wire, multi-conductor cable, ribbon and coax.
Cable assemblies in the catalogue - 02
Cable harnesses
Several cables and branches bundled, routed and terminated as one harness — braided, twisted or sleeved for the space it runs through.
- 03
Connectors
Connectors and backshells chosen for current, environment, sealing and mating cycles — from the range or sourced for your design.
Connectors in the catalogue - 04
Custom cable solutions
Special lengths, connector combinations, overmoulded ends and cable specifications that a standard part does not cover.

How it is made
Reproducible from the first piece to the series.
Cable assemblies are made in-house on Schleuniger, Komax and GWL equipment, and tested before they leave.

Questions
Cable assemblies — frequently asked
What is the difference between a cable assembly and a cable harness?
A cable assembly is usually one cable with its connectors or terminations. A cable harness bundles several cables and branches into one unit that is routed and installed as a whole. Belko builds both.
Does Belko build the assemblies itself?
Yes. Belko assembles single wire, multi-conductor cable, ribbon and coax — cut and stripped automatically, crimped by hand and by press, soldered, braided, twisted, overmoulded and electronically tested.
Can you make prototypes as well as series?
Yes — from the first pieces for a fit check to series production with call-off orders and scheduled delivery.
What do you need to quote a cable assembly?
A drawing, a sample, an existing part number or a description of the application is enough to start. A specialist completes the technical configuration with you.
Can you use a specific connector or cable brand?
Yes. Belko works with the connectors and cable in its range and sources components outside it when your design calls for them.
Can the assembly be part of a complete system?
Yes. When cable assemblies have to come together with boards, power supplies and an enclosure, Belko coordinates the complete integration with specialist partners.
